Beverly

KimBeverly Lumbres Caimen, born on June 20, 1994 also called Beverly, is a Filipino pop artist based in Japan under the Avex Trax. Her numerous appearances on soundtracks include "Be the One" from Kamen Rider Build and "Koko" from Pokemon the Movie Secrets of the Jungle. Beverly Caimen, the third of three children to Ramon Vega Caimen, Leticia Valdez Lumbres and Leticia Caimen, was born June 20, 1994 in Calamba (Laguna, Philippines). She was the youngest of three siblings, with a brother and two sisters. Beverly began singing at the age five, when her mother enrolled Beverly to school. She discovered that she had talent and she was able to sing. She joined her school's chorus at the age of seven and began taking voice lessons at age 9 when her mother discovered time. At the age of 10, she participated in her first singing competition. She didn't win. Her mother was supportive of her and encouraged her to continue because she believed she required more knowledge. Batangas State University gave her a B.S. in Psychology. Beverly began singing in amateur competitions to pursue her dream. She won first prize at the World Championships of Performing Arts. She recorded songs under GMA Records with composer Vehnee. Beverly Caimen was her first and only album released by GMA. Beverly won the Harvest of Honors Award from the National Commission for Culture and the Arts, and the Best Performance award of the A Song of Praise Music Festival Year.
