Kelly Clarkson

KellyKelly Clarkson (in full Kelly Brianne Clarkson) was born 24 April 1982 from Fort Worth, Texas. She is an American performer, songwriter and TV host. She was a contestant in 2002 when she won the American Idol talent contest. Clarkson was born in Burleson Texas (a town located just outside of Fort Worth), where her vocal talents were first noticed by her 7th grade choir teacher. Following graduation, Clarkson made the move in Los Angeles, where she failed to make it into the show business. She was selected to compete for the Fox Broadcasting Company's American Idol singing competition, giving viewers the chance to cast their vote on their favourite artist. Clarkson was adored by the viewers because of her charismatic voice and funny sense of humor. Her prize for winning this contest was $1 million and an agreement to record with RCA.
