Anna Paquin

Anna Paquin, a Canadian-New Zealander actor. She was born in Winnipeg and raised in Wellington Paquin made her acting debut as Flora McGrath in the romantic drama film The Piano for which she received an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress at the age of 11, which makes her the second youngest winner in Oscar history. Anna Paquin's full name was Anna Helene Paquin. Born July 24th 1982 at Winnipeg Manitoba Canada, she was an Canadian born New Zealand actress. As an infant, she won her the Academy Award for best support actress. Her performance as the talkative and inquisitive character Holly Hunter played in The Piano (1993) brought her the honor. Paquin played Frankie Addams from a television film adaptation of Carson McCullers' novel The Member of the Wedding (1997). Paquin played a minor role in the Queen of Spain Steven Spielberg's Amistad (1997. The actress played teens in Hurlyburly (1998) She's All That (1999) and A Walk on the Moon (1999) and portrayed the character of a groupie Polexia Aphrodisa as a character in Almost Famous (2000).
